Horrible. They never call you back, i traded a car bought another, they still have not paid off my car I traded many weeks later which now shows bad credit on my end and they have the car, won't pay off and I'm stuck with credit drop. Terrible business terrible
I'm not going to go into too much detail just yet, but I'm having a lot of trouble with customer service. You see, we purchased a car weeks ago and we still don't have the registration figured out because in the process the car had several very expensive issues and we were working on that to come to some sort of resolution but nobody calls you back. We were very quickly heading towards making this a legal issue but I'm trying not to take it there. Feel free to respond to this guys, or don't work with me and will turn the temperature up. I'm not going to count my lucky stars and hope for the best like everybody else here... Have a great day!

Drove three hours to get an advertised truck that we had spoke to a salesperson (Ike) about and was contacted by Brianna via text while in route about our eta to find out they had already sold the vehicle. Both were aware we were on our way and Ike insisted on running our credit yesterday but neither bothered to let us know the truck was sold. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional. I will never try to do business with them again and I will be sure to spread this information whenever the opportunity arises.
We work with Liz and had a wonderful experience. She made the carb and process so easy for us. She’s so nice and easy-going with everyone. I love that she makes sure everything is taken care of before you leave the lot.

I would give zero stars if I could. I drove out of my way to purchase a 2018 Tesla model 3 from (not so) Smart Chevrolet in Madison, NC. I was approved, agreed to purchase price, bought it, signed all paperwork. I was supposed to take delivery next day so two issues could be fixed with the vehicle (driver side window button and illegal tint had to be removed from front windows.) I got a call the morning of delivery saying the bank magically wants $2500 in cash to make the deal happen, after we had already agreed to a deal and signed papers. I refused because where I'm from when you sign paperwork and shake a man's hand, a deal is a deal. Apparently this is not the case for Dull Chevrolet. DO NOT FALL FOR THESE SCAMMERS TRICKS. THEY WILL RENEG ON A DEAL AND NOT HONOR YOUR SIGNED CONTRACTUAL DEAL.
They are very patient and helpful with your purchase.Liz was outstanding with her knowledge of the car. She went above and beyond to answer my questions and requests. This was my first online purchase and she made it very easy.

Absolutely terrible, called to inquire about a range rover, was put on the phone with Tyler who made the arrangements to buy the car. I was pre-approved by capital one so I knew what my interest was, Tyler tried to up the interest rate by 2 points, I called capital one and they said my interest should be what was quoted on the site, after relying that to Tyler, magically they had a better offer from Wells Fargo (that should have been a red flag not to buy from these people) flew from Florida to pick it up as I was driving down noticed that the AC didn't work properly. I notified Liz the person that assisted me picking up the car. For the next two days, she was very dismissive so I asked for the report of the 120 point inspection (she said she would send to me never did) took the car to land rover to have the system checked (I had to pay $450 for them for their inspection and to recharge it as it was low on freon - Something Smart Chevrolet should have done prior to delivery) I left a voicemail for Tyler about the situation and never received a call back, called logan his manager who was even more dismissive and told me that I could bring the car over to them or he could give me the "$50 in his pocket for a bottle of freon" I told him his offer was offensive, he said that I offended them by not buying a extend warranty from them (which will not have cover that anyways as it was not a breakdown) I also mentioned that the issue was already resolved but that I was assured the car had no issues by Tyler and that it was thoroughly inspected. He said that there was nothing he was willing to do and refused to provide me the contact information for the GM. A Dealer that cannot stand by the product they sale by even a week and cannot follow through with their word is not really worthy of your business (Beware if you are buying out of State as these people do not properly check the cars they sell or as described by Logan "we just put gas on them and give them a quick drive, I guess that is their 120 point inspection and that is why I never got my report) In addition there should have been a credit of $56 dollars for registration fees that was sent back to them by the DMV that should have been sent to the bank or refunded to me and that wasn't done either. I am also still waiting for Liz to send me the 120 point inspection report and the USB owner manual she promised... Do not recommend doing business with them.
This November/December is a year after my experience with Smart Chevrolet. Unfortunately my story continues with my purchase with nothing settled after going around in circles with "owner." I never made it to the manager. About 3-4 weeks after purchase mold was discovered and then later around March of 2023. Engine light came on around that time. I owe over $13,000 and already have put in around $3,000. I am widow of 28 yrs with fixed income. I had problems with my vehicle so decided to be secure by buying a vehicle from Smart Chevrolet. But never thought I would be in a bigger mess. I don't like doing reviews or don't believe in suing. I can go on and on, but I just wanted people to know and pray it doesn't happen to anyone else. Please do not tell me to call you or you will call me, (Smart C) because we have been down that road so many times and only went in circles with me still in the same spot. Owing much money on a vehicle with many issues. I was told by a garage that even if they fix it, they couldn't guarantee it wouldn't happen again. It has so many issues to post here including Catalytic Converter.
I would never purchase another vehicle from them. They agreed to fix my radio and it took over a year to get it fixed was told I couldn’t get one of their rentals because they would only have my car overnight. A year and some months later they called to schedule to fix it and they kept my car for a while week and two days. Was told that the radio they had didn’t work so they called me to see if I was willing to put a radio in there if they could find one like from Best Buy or similar. I told them that if it was going to look like the original one coming out that was fine. So they found a radio and it took them another 4 days to put it in. Was told the antenna didn’t come with it and they were waiting on one. Picked my car up and the entire set up for my radio and heating ac system was different they where actually switched so my radio was at the top and I had knobs that turned for the heating/ac. Now my heating/ac is at the top and radio at the bottom.. I only have one radio channel that half way picks up after they claimed they received one to put in it. The Bluetooth doesn’t work u can call on in but they can’t hear u because it’s not connected right, my back up camera isn’t connected at all, all my buttons on the steering wheels don’t work like the original, and if u don’t remember to power the radio off with the power button before cutting the car off and go a day or two without driving it the battery to my car is dead. This has happened twice so far. I have called twice first I spoke to Donnie and he told me to pick a day to bring my car back mind you I’m 45 mins from the shop plus don’t have another vehicle to get back and forth to work because my spouse works local as well as takes and picks up my son from preschool. I work a hour from home. So I called back several days later to tell them I need a rental spoke to a lady that answered the phone explained all this to her and she took my information said Donnie would call me back when got back from lunch it has been going on three weeks still no one has called.. if you buy a vehicle from them don’t trust the service dept because I been screwed not once but several times from them..
If I could put a negative 0 I would. I would be embarrassed to even have a Chevrolet logo at this awful place. If you want to have problems with your car, people lie to your face, this is the dealership for you. Horrible despicable Manager. I drove my car 2 weeks and had to put in the shop as I was told it was too dangerous to drive. This dealership fixed nothing and did not offer to pay any of the 8k I had to pay. Drive past this place!!
I just wanted to say Thank you for my new car that My husband Jimmy brought me two weeks ago from your business. It is the second car we have purchased from your dealership It is a wonderful car that our whole family can fit in and enjoy riding. Mountains here we come.
